Hypnosis? Does this stuff really work?

How many sessions will it take?

How many sessions will it take?
charlie smoke major
This is probably the most common question when a client wants to break a habit.  Most do not want to sit around an office talking about their habit any longer than they "are forced to" and yes, they are also looking at their wallet!
So how long does it take to break a habit?  No quick answer, but the training of a therapist who has a background in psychology, drug and alcohol therapy vs a lay hypnotherapist who has six weeks of training will look at a client differently.
The lay hypnotherapist will only look at the symptom and will suggest a behavioral change Surprise! It can work, but usually only for a period of time. If the client has not come to terms with the cause of the habit, it may return under stress, chemical inbalances in the brain chemistry, or take another form. ("I no longer smoke pot, but I now enjoy wine!").
It also depends on the motivation of the client.  Can you imagine working with Charlie Sheen? He does not want to quit, so until he does either by loss of income, court order, or failed health, no amount of therapy will help.

I had a couple today with a husband who is an alcoholic and a wife that "just can't leave him." They are divorced but live together and have two children. They are both lovely people, but he does not think he has a problem and can manage a six pack a night, and a couple of nights that go into the wee morning hours "with the boys!" He does not want to give up his drinking "on the surface" but he knows she has had it with him and is ready to leave him for the final time.  After the intital interview, I realized that he is afraid that he can't quit. There is so much alcohol in his system that is is not a safe suggestion to take him off  completely. I asked him what was a reasonable amount that he could commit to for the first week.  He came up with two beers a night and no drinking with the boys. His wife was not happy with the gradual withdrawl, but she agreed to go along with it.  I also gave him massive amounts of amino acids as alcohol issues are not always a matter of will power, (or any other addiction for that matter) but body chemistry.  The aminos which contain tyrosine, L glutamine and phenylalaine help with the cravings and replace dopamine naturally (alcohol depletes the dopamine receptors).
So to answer the question, one session, probably not unless the client has had success and is on the final stage and just needs a push.  Divorce, long term use, poor self esteem need tools over several sessions.  I usually recommend five sessions and then a review to see how they are doing.

If you have started therapy with a qualified therapist who uses ASCH hypnosis, stay wit the program,it may be longer than you want, but with the layering of the message and the guidance of your counselor, your chances of success are far greater.I'll let you now how the couple is progressing next week.

The client I should have said no to...but didn't

Judie Brierly - Thursday, August 04, 2011

Greetings from Doc Judie
COPD (chronic obstructive pulmonary disease)
The client I should have "said no to" but didn't.
Greetings from Doc Judie
This is what COPD (chronic obstructive pulmonary disease) looks like...smokers, take a long hard look at the color of the lungs (which are usually pink)

Now translate this to a very kind man fighting for his life that showed up at my office, begging for help.
he said "he wanted to cut down on his smoking, as his doctor said it would be a good idea since he was having a little trouble breathing.  He also wanted to lose a few pounds.  I think he knew I would not see him if he really told me how bad his health condition really was.
My office is down a driveway, a little studio about 150 feet from the parking area.  I met a man who was close to 400 lbs with portable oxygen.  It took 4 rest stops and 20 minutes to get him into my treatment room.  I could tell by his size and his difficulty in breathing that I could not use the recliner, but had to keep him upright.  I asked him both in the driveway, and again in the room if he really wanted to go through with the procedure, and that if it was too difficult to talk, we could stop at any time.
I was feeling 'out of my comfort zone" and that this was way over my head, my skills did not allow me to treat anyone so severely impaired with COPD cormorbidy (obesity, asthma, and smoking
). His comments changed my mind. I stopped worrying about him "breaking my recliner, falling in the driveway or even dying from the stress of walking and moving around. He was desperate, the VA had given up on him and he had to do something. I can't tell you how to run your practice, or who to turn to for treatment. With my training I would have turned him back on the phone interview, but in person, I saw his spark of hope and I was honored to help him.  He used to be very active, hard working in lumber camps and a mechanic on heavy machinery.  About 10 years ago, from heavy smoking, his lungs started to give out but he continued to smoke.  Now on full disability, he was denied a bipass operation because they did not think he would make it. So I started unraveling his story.  He would not tell me much and made light of any problems in his life (much like the phone conversation) I continued to push for answers, looking for a trigger that changed him 10 years ago...his breathing became so labored that we had to stop for a few minutes.  He blurted it out that his son committed suicide. He was eating and smoking himself to death as a way of dealing with unresolved grief. I had to keep my questions short, and in a nutshell I asked him if "he wanted to live, what was he willing to do to change his life, what was he willing to give up to live?" I asked him to just think about it and answer after
the session.  I know from hospital work that you cannot overtax a patient, and the session is best kept short. In the case of this desperate man, usual scripts such as "take a deep breathe and breathe deep and slow" were not appropriate he was gasping for air. I took him through the relaxation process very slowly, monitoring his breathing.  When it stabilized, I gave him the suggestions that  the cigarette was his henchmen coming from him.  He was determined that it was not his time and he wanted to live, he would find the strength to keep his mouth closed and not allow the henchmen to go into his lungs. He had the power to do this.I knew I could not take the damage away from his lungs that was already there, but I asked him to think of all the things he could do to preserve his great spirit that made him drive several miles to my clinic.  I was not sure how the session went, but at the end he said he wanted to swim and do water exercises. He cooks his own food and was willing to cut down on the portions (he actually ate fairly balanced meals..just too much and no exercise) Also he was suffering from all the steroids that he had to take.  He said "I smoked my last cigarette, it is not my time-there are grandchildren I never met).
I don't have a happy ending to this story, but it is a story of hope even when all the doors are slammed shut. Who am I and who are the doctors to tell this man that he is going to die on a certain date? and who was I to deny him? He was fighting for his life, and it was an honor for me to help him.
I'll let you know if he calls me in a couple of weeks.
Here is to your impossible situations, the clients you don't give up on and the spark of life that continues to flicker against all odds-it is called hope.

Schizophrenia and Hypnosis

Schizophrenia and Hypnosis
Greetings from Doc Judie
Lately I have seen clients who suffer from signs of schizophrenia and I wanted to do some research to see if hypnosis could help the situation.   For those of you who are not familiar with the signs of this disorder, here is some general information for you:

Understanding Schizophrenia: Schizophrenia Symptoms and Schizophrenia Treatment

Schizophrenia is a serious mental illness that affects how a person thinks, behaves, and feels. People with Schizophrenia find it difficult to tell the difference between what is real and what they are imagining. They lose the ability to think logically, express feelings, or to behave in an appropriate manner. Schizophrenics hear voices that nobody else hears. They also see things that no one else does. They imagine things that are sometimes unpleasant for them.

These experiences can seem threatening and can make them fearful and they withdraw themselves. Schizophrenia is one of the most misunderstood mental illnesses. There are two types of this illness which can make it more difficult. The two types are paranoid and disorganized. Many people suffer from this illness. Fortunately there is help and there are treatment options out there. .

There are several signs and symptoms of Schizophrenia. Some are categorized as negative symptoms and some are positive. Here is a list of warning sign that you or someone close to you may have this illness:

  • Social withdrawal
  • Hostility
  • Suspiciousness
  • Deterioration of personal hygiene
  • Flat, expressionless gaze
  • Inability to express any emotion
  • Inappropriate behavior
  • Depression
  • Oversleeping
  • Insomnia
  • Odd statements
  • Forgetful
  • Inability to concentrate
  • Extreme reaction to criticism
  • Strange use of words

Some other signs and symptoms of delusions and hallucinations. They may start to think that someone is out to get them. People with this illness may experience paranoia which could be a sign that they have paranoid schizophrenia. They may also have special powers that nobody else has. Schizophrenics may also experience hallucinations which are basically sounds and events that seem real to them but it is all in their mind. Schizophrenic hallucinations are usually meaningful to the person experiencing them. It is common for the voices they hear to of someone they know. Most commonly, the voices are critical or abusive.
I have read several articles on the subject and there is not much research on this subject.  There was a Cochrane study in 1985 that only dealt with a small group and is not regarded as hard scientific evidence that hypnosis works, the modern view is anti-psychotic drugs along with counseling are the current means of treatment.
However, there is one current theory that breaks down schizophrenia into two groups: If there is brain damage from drug use or an accident, hypnotherapy may not be able to reach to brain and a regime of medication will be necessary for the life of the patient. If there is no physical brain damage, schizophrenia may be more of a phobia (such as fear of spiders or unknown spirits in the room talking to them) and it can be treated with hypnosis.
This requires working with a psychiatrist who can order a brain scan to see if damage to brain has occurred.  I have seen some real progress with some of my clients, and not much with others.  In particular, it is very difficult for schizophrenics to stop smoking and most of them do for some reason.  It may be a self medicating form of quieting down the brain. (another study is needed!).  Hypnosis usually helps over many sessions, clients will say that they are finally able to relax; or they report no difference.
So if any of you have used hypnosis with clients who have schizophrenia, I would love to hear from you. I would also be very interested in chatting with anyone who has schizophrenia to find out if hypnosis has been helpful.
I continue to learn about this exciting field and the pathways to the mind. Feel free to share any information with me.

New amino acid L theanine and hypnosis
Greetings from Doc Judie
In my practice, I do more than just use hypnosis, which is a delivery system. It has to be connected to a therapeutic message. So I use a combination of counseling, hypnosis to deliver the therapy message, and nutritional information on healing the body.  I love amino acid therapy as aminos are natural proteins that make up most of the body mass. Through stress, addictions, depression, and anxiety the body and brain lose many of the vital aminos necessary for normal functions.  Sometimes, a little boost is needed to "teach the mind how to cope and learn to  make dopamine and serotonin, and amino acids are a great aid.  The best news is that because the amino acids are natural to the body, nothing artificial is added to the system.  So when I do an intake on a new client, I look at the mind and body from all angles to see what is needed. Sometimes it is really "all in the head" and sometimes "it is in the body," usually it is both, so why just treat from one angle when all parts need to be addressed.
I am excited about an amino acid called L-Theanine which has been around since China first learned about the calming properties in tea.  L-Theanine is a free form amino acid found in green tea and various mushrooms. It has been shown to increase tranquilizing Alpha waves without inducing drowsiness. Clinical trials show that L-Theanine diminishing symptoms of PMS improving learning performance
  • heightening mental acuity
  • promoting concentration
  • supporting the immune system

lowering blood pressure increasing formation of the inhibitory neurotransmitter GABA

increasing brain dopamine levels among other positive benefits with no known downside.

  • helping in the treatment of cancer

I recently suggested the use of L-Theanine to a client who was suffering from anxiety attacks and General Anxiety Disorder.  Her blood pressure was up, it was hard for her to drive to my office, and as she told her story, she became agitated and cried throughout the session. By the second session, one week on L-Theanine, her blood pressure was done, she was calm, and was responsive to the hypnotherapy session I will be selling it to my on-line clients very soon.  It is under the name "Tea-Zen "meditation in a bottle" 240 capsules for $45.00.  Let me know if you are interested.  Look on the side bar for a complete list of amino products which should be up by the end of the week.

    No If, Ands, or Butts...
    Greetings from Doc Judie
This is the start of a smoking cessation program that I have designed just for you. If you pick a therapist, make sure that he/she is a professional in the mental health field with either a Masters or Doctorate who also has advanced training in hypnosis. This will improve your chances of success. Don't look for the "one session or the guarantee to quit promises," it just doesn't work that way.  It is usually 4 or 5 sessions and layering of the same message over and over.  The good news is that hypnosis is one of the best methods for helping people "Kick the butts"...so this is for all of you that have tried to quit unsuccessfully in the past.  These proven methods could change your life and you can be smoke free very soon

I have used Marlboros as a stereo type as it  is the leading cigarette (40% sales) that has been around for a long time.  It still has the distinct aroma that has outlived its clients over a 50 year period.  Philip Morris USA, which produces Marlboro cigarettes, said that it was working with US tobacco growers to reduce the amount of the carcinogen in its product, which has the highest amount of carcinogen compounds-double that of any other brand.

There are 43 known cancer-causing (carcinogenic) compounds and 400 other toxins found in a cigarette.   These include nicotine, tar, and carbon monoxide, as well as formaldehyde, ammonia, hydrogen cyanide, arsenic, and DDT. They are also loaded with sugar; scientifically enginerred to keep you hooked!

Nicotine is the highly addictive substance that keeps you wanting more, a time release that "wants back into your system every twenty minutes!  Smoke containing nicotine is inhaled into the lungs, and the nicotine reaches your brain in just six seconds.

Nicotine in small doses acts as a stimulant to the brain. In large doses, it's a depressant, inhibiting the flow of signals between nerve cells, it slows your thinking down. In even larger doses, it's a lethal poison, affecting the heart, blood vessels, and hormones.

As a cigarette is smoked, the amount of tar inhaled into the lungs increases, and the last puff contains more than twice as much tar as the first puff. Carbon monoxide makes it harder for red blood cells to carry oxygen throughout the body. Tar is a mixture of substances that together form a sticky mass in lungs.
About now you are either sick to your stomach with the facts rubbed in your face, or you do what most smokers do and you simply ignore the information because it is too daunting to deal with, you feel trapped..

I have worked with smokers "successfully" for years and hypnosis, coupled with talk therapy and amino acid therapy is the key to success for at least 68% of smokers who enter a smoking cessation program with me. Let me explain why my method is a little different from the norm.

People smoke for different reasons.  Remember being a kid and smoking your first cigarette at a party to be "cool?" Remember how it burned your throat and you got a blasting headache and sore throat?  You literally had to force your self to smoke.  Then it became a habit where all those chemicals wanted in your body, and would not leave you alone. You were hooked.  Maybe you had trouble running track because you just could not get enough air into your lungs. Or maybe you were blessed with great genetics and ran like the wind anyway.   Eventually, after trying to quit over and over, you find yourself mid-aged with gum and teeth problems, tingling in your arms and legs, and not even able to go up a flight of stairs let alone run a 10K race. Smoking lost its "cool" a long ago.

Now I can't leave this blog with all the bad news there has to be some good news that can give you a little hope until the next blog and here it is:

Here is the outline of the program: Lets talk about it.  This is usually called Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, changing a behavior.
It helps to really listen to you, and see what "smoking does for you?" Does it relax you? Stimulate you and give you energy? Keep you from being bored? Weight control? What is your hardest cigarette to give up? Have you tried to quit before, how long did it last? What was the trigger that started you back on cigarettes?  Finding out what type of a smoker you are gives me a way of talking to you, addressing your stress, your fears, and your energy level. How is your over all health? The most important ending question is always...why now? What made you decide to quit?

The next portion is to talk to the other side of the brain, the subconscious mind.  I don't really know exactly what those terms mean as there is not a definite line in the brain that divides the conscious from the subconscious,  and  the new research indicates that they overlap. I know that when a person is relaxed, they "hear" things in a quet state with more focused attention than they do when they are awake and stimulated by chatter, answering questions and giving automatic responses. The message and a plan is laid out for the individual.  I favor a cut back method, even though I have had very successful clients quit cold turkey, most clients want a gentle withdraw.  Eliminating the first cigarette in the morning and the last at night are two important changes.  Cleaning the house and the car are another commitment to smoke free living.  Drinking water, breathing techniques, using the opposite hand, etc. all break an automatic habit.  Each week, cut down on the amount of cigerettes you smoke and by the third or fourth week, you are there!

The third level of treatment is amino acid therapy which addresses the physical withdrawal symptoms that people usually find so painful when they quit.  Amino acids are simply put just proteins  They are the building blocks of our body and certain compounds replace dopamine and serotonin "naturally" that the cigarettes put in the brain artificially. They work better than Chantix, Zyban, Wellbutrin and other antidepressants. There are  no side effects with amino acids. They rebuild the damaged cells in the body from years of smoking; and it is all natural..

That is the design, I'll be back tomorrow with details on each step. Let me have some feedback from you and questions that you have about your own smoking cessation program.

Tapping into a new vibration through hypnosis

    Greetings from Doc Judie
I have blogged about tapping in the past, but would like to revisit the subject with some new observations from my clients and information from Carol Look, specialist in tapping techniques, or Emotional Freedom Technique (EFT).
Carol Look is an  Emotional Freedom Technique practitioner. she describes EFT as  a form of psychological acupressure that uses a gentle tapping technique instead of needles to stimulate traditional Chinese acupuncture points to move energy that is stuck in the neuro-pathways, or meridians.  Carol  taps on the designated points along with verbalizing the identified problem followed by a general affirmations phase, the energy system balances often relieve psychological stress and pain, states Long.
Here are some of the tapping points:
Tap on the face and body, and then move to the hand  By using a karate chop type of motion to the side of the hand and tapping on the inside of the wrist and each finger.  Along with the tapping, you must use a series of words to change the vibration from negative to positive thinking.

The script: "Even though I have fear (such as I have no $$$) I completely accept myself  Repeat the phrase while tapping on each spot five ties.
The first few times I tried this technique, I could not stop laughing.  First of all it tickled and I found certain tap
ping spots (especially by my lips and under my arms irritating!)   I found it ritualistic, and too airy-fairy for my scientific mindset.
However, it started to relieve my stress, and when I tapped for "chocolate" I no longer wanted to eat it.  So I will not waste your time with "proof" on how it works.  I really don't have concrete evidence, but for many of my clients and myself, there was a shift in behavior.  Long says it works better than "talk therapy for her" as it physically moves the energy around.

For those of you who read my blogs, you know that I view hypnosis as a wonderful therapeutic tool and it blends with so many other healing modalities.  Tapping is no exception.  When my clients learn to relax through a hypnosis session, they are more receptive to tapping.  I never tap on the first session, I usually let my clients get use to relaxation and then I add it to my program.  It has been a great help for over eating, smoking, alcohol and anxiety.  Give it a try, easy to learn and most report it is a lot of fun, interesting, and amazed at the outcome.  Like anything new, it is not for everyone. There are a few clients that "don't like being touched and do not enjoy the experience." Many ways to the pathway of the mind, just try another technique.

    Amino Acid Therapy and Hypnosis

    Greetings from Doc Judie

I hope you missed my blogs as much as I missed writing them for you.  I have been gone from my site for over a month and I have a lot of new information to share with you.  I am working with a new company, Montiff, owned by Don Tyson, the world's leading expert on amino acid formulation.

For those of you who would like more in depth information on  amino acid therapy, go to montiff.com and click on the tech sheets to see how the aminos work with different parts of the body. You may want to look at a copy of The Amino Revolution by Robert Erdmann...or you can put up with my short version of amino acids and how I use them with hypnosis.

The amino acids are food suppliments, they are proteins,  the building blocks of life. When people are sick, stressed, suffering from injury, panic attacks, anxiety or depression symptoms,  there is a physical reaction in the body. The metabolic pathways are disturbed, and nutrients cannot be deliered to the cells; when the brain is traumatized, the body suffers, when the body is traumatized, the brain suffers.  They cannot be seperated.

Amino acids are not drugs  They won't suppress the symptoms of your illness while avoiding the causes  These remarkable powders work solely by strengthening the natural metabolic reactions in your body that help you regain your natural balance.

I love hypnosis, it is my favorite tool that I use to help people hear a therapeutic message, but there are times when they simply cannot relax, they cannot breathe, and their body has forgotten how to produce any endorphins. They are physically out of balance.  So for extreme cases of trauma, PTSD, and anxiety, amino acid formulas help with the hypnotherapy session. Can't hypnosis on its own merit restore balance in the body? In many cases it does, but it may take several sessions. When someone is in stress why not give the hypnosis which works on the mind, a little help by mending the body naturally.

The amino acid D-Phenylalanine:   It can help with chronic pain, help the body fight cravings for drugs, or sugar when endorphins are not being manufuctured. D-Phenylalanine aids in the effects of acupuncture treatments by offering more pain relief tha if the needles are used without it.  It can also increase the pain threshold for prolonged periods during dental surgery.

It has been very effective when treating clients with chronic physial and mental pain during a hypnotherapy session.

Montiff has a wonderful formula of L-tyrosine, N-Acetyl-Tyrosine which helps boost low levels of catecholamines (feel good chemicals) associated with depression, anxiety, irritability. It is useful for drug and alcohol cravings. So why not ask for a little help from a natural source, I am about helping people on their path to wellness, through hypnosis, talk therapy and amino acid therapy.

Send me an email if you would like more information on amino acid therapy.

    The Value of Friendship

    Greetings from Doc Judie

"Many people will walk in and out of your life, but only a few will leave footprints in your heart."

I recently had a very interesting experience.  An old doctor friend of mine from California called and asked if I would take care of two horseback riders going across country for their charity, abused children and broken families. The entourage was a young couple, and four horses.  They had more heart than money, more passion for their mission than common sense and the spirit of adventure that made up for their lack of  experience. They had narrowly escaped avalanches, snowed in roads, and  forced private property detours that were not shown on their maps. They were at the mercy of friendships made along their path for food, shelter and pasture for their animals.

I was very impressed by their devotion to their cause and their trust in humanity that they would be taken care of, but I was more impressed by my lifetime friends that opened their homes, their ranches, and their hearts to these strangers passing through for a week. So here is how the week with our riders worked out:

Renee, owner of a family ranch in the valley opened her pastures, arranged transportation, and found a vet for them when they suspected lyme disease in one of their horses.

Caralee who works full time, a  single mother, also takes care of her sick uncle. Yet she offered them a room in her house, use of a truck,  and home cooked meals.

I was the go-to person for transportation to the airport, and taking care of their personal needs, shopping,  and a trip to the hot springs while they were guests in our valley.  It went well, but what do you do when the week is over and the riders are not leaving?

The tired young couple was up against a wall, one horse was not ready for the long ride.  They were out of money and losing their passion for the long haul ahead of them;  Was the trip more than they bargained for?

I had to look to my own heart on how far to extend the new friendship, when to let them go and allow them to figure out their own journey and when to say good-bye.  It was like being a mom all over again!

I turned to my friends who graciously shared their viewpoints.  From Renee, I learned to laugh about the situation. Renee said what she always says " We will have wonderful funny stories to tell at our annual birthday dinner."  She was happy to help and share the adventure.

From Caralee, I learned that you should always open your house, your heart and even your wallet when you don't have much, but time to turn them loose and make room for the next person who needs "a room, " time to strip the beds and throw the sheets in the washer on the way out.

I then turned to my own conscious and my natural compassion to take care of people. It is my calling and my pleasure to help, but helping someone often means allowing them to find their own way and not assumng that they will be lost without my help.

As it turned out, they did find other people in the valley to give them shelter for their animals and a new home for them. It will be interesting to see if they continue their journey or call it quits.  Either way, I hope they ride out of this valley with good memories of the people that befriended them.

I reflected on what a great bunch of friends I have and how they have been there for me for many years. The kind of friends that usually "say yes" when I ask them to do something crazy, the type of friends that have shown up for my birthdays, my family evens, and even  my funeral if I am that lucky!. I hope you have friends like this in your life.

Use your own meditation, self hypnosis and breathe through your heart when you are asked to do something, to help someone outside of your comfort zone.  We all need a helping hand from time to time. It is also part of the universal plan to know when to say goodbye and let them find their "happy trails" without you.

    Let Nature Heal Your Heart

    Greetings from Doc Judie

Spring is final here, what a wonderful time to celebrate Earth Day coming up.
It is a day that I give thanks for the beauty of the earth and the simple pleasure of breathing clean crisp spring air.  If you have read enough of my blogs, you will know that I love to garden.  I find it almost impossible to be anxious or depressed when I am pruning trees, raking the winter leaves off the lawn, or planting new seedlings.  There is a study that connects a sense of well being with the microbes in the soil.  So hands and feet touching the earth is good physical exercise and calms you down mentally-a double blessing.

Here is my spring ritual, one that I actually repeat often throughout the year, regardless of the season.  When you have been cooped up in the house (we spend over 85% of our lives indoors) it is time to go outside.  Watch little kids or house pets; they just can't stand it any longer and hang around the front door waiting for you to let them out!  You probably feel that way too.

I have the luxury of living in the Sierras  There is beauty all round me from alpine lakes to mountain ranges to green meadows and thick forests.  I don't have to go far to find beauty, it is as close as my backyard.  I hope you have a setting close to nature, but if not, take a short ride to a park, a lake, or even a thicket of trees and breathe in some clean air that is not filled with pollution. Do this especially if you feel anxious, depressed or if you have a heavy heart for some reason.

Empty your mind and come up with your own self hypnosis script of feeling invigorated as you stand or sit still for just a minute. When you are ready start to breathe.   Take your first breath slow and easy, inhale through your nose for a count of four; and release through your mouth for a count of eight.  Exhale deeply into your belly and really empty yourself out.  Do this ten times and visualize all of that clean crisp spring air going through your heart.  Feel a sense of gratitude for what is good in your life and as you do, you will feel the heaviness in your heart lift.

That is the gift of life from planet Earth, fresh air to breathe.  Feel it on the outside of your body and circulating all the way through your brain and body.  Nature will heal your heart.
Here's to your physical and mental health. Happy Earth Day
